What can I use to replace honey in the recipe? I have a grandson who is allergic to honey?

I make these for a school I work at. We have allergens to watch for. I used a banana for a binding agent in place of honey.

I like to use maple syrup for the sweetness! If I don’t have honey on hand. :)

Maple syrup sometimes can be quite runny compared to thick honey, so just be aware of that. I adjust a bit more peanut butter or protein powder for thickener if I have issues!
