Do you make your own cheese powder? I tried with my dehydrator and could never get the cheese dry enough too much grease. Any tips or tricks ?

Brooke, I have used this cheese powder and it is delicious! Fairly good ingredients for cheese powder and budget friendly! https://clipara.b-cdn.net/clubb-comment-images/d72d6cc8-c051-4ff6-b7be-82be4f66a429.png

I have made it in my freeze dryer in the past. There are some organic options that you can find on Amazon or in some stores that are good too.

I am type 1 and also watch my sodium. I order the cheese powder without salt and used low sodium elbow mac. I made this I missed mac n cheese- It is terrific and taste great without salt and I have now stocked my pantry.

The only noodles I had on hand. Came out delicious. I used better cheddar cheese thats why it is lighter in color.
